Abstract

Bottles shaped to facilitate cleaning.- Relates to bottles having upper and lower separate parts, to facilitate cleaning, and in which one part has an annular projecting flange of smaller circumference than the interior circumference of the other part so that a rigid joint may be effected, the parts being held together by bands or clips. According to the invention, a bottle A, Fig. 1, is formed and then grooved at B. Severance is effected at C and the interior of the upper part and the reduced circumferential part B are ground out so that the parts are interfitting. Alternatively, the bottle may be cut adjacent to the shoulder F. Packing may be inserted between the shoulders C, F which abut when the parts are assembled. An elastic band M with a. slit N may hold the assembly.
