Abstract

Test apparatus (1) employs slides (2) for sampling bacteria from work surfaces of e.g. kitchens and has a rack (9) defining a plurality of seats (10) to accommodate a plurality of slides (2). A carrying case (11) encloses the rack (9). The apparatus enables easier sampling of bacteria by personnel who have to operate in suburban areas away from specially equipped laboratories. <IMAGE>
