Description
TITLE: MULTI-FURFOSE FOOD COOKER
This invention relates to an improved food cooker..
Generally, dried fluffy meat and fish should be evenly stirred and dried in their last preparing step so that they can be sold and served conveniently.
In the past, it is necessary to manually stir and rotate the meat or fish in the pot by means of a turner in the last preparing step. However, in order to follow the increasing need of the market, it is inevitable to use machine to replace the manual power. Such kind of machine can not only deal with large quantity of food, but also reduce the preparing time and have better result.
The quality of the product mainly depends on the machine, so that the product of a good machine would be popularly accepted by the customer. It is found that the commonly used machine mainly comprises a power box and a rotatable pot. The power box is provided with a nozzle for a gas cooker and a motor-driven mechanism.
The food in the pot is stirred by a rake and dried by the gas cooker. The machine is further provided with a fixed slicer for preventing the product from stricking in the pot. Nevertheless, the rake of such machine is composed of several tines which cannot evenly stir the food in the pot. Thus, it is necessary to manually stir the food in the pot. Further, the rotatable pot cannot be adjusted in inclination thereby being unable to pour out the food arid is inconvenient to wash and clean.
Moreover, such machine can only be used to dry the food, but cannot be used to fry or the like.
It is, therefore, an object of the present invention to provide a food cooker which may obviate and mitigate the above-mentioned drawbacks.
It is the primary object of the present invention to provide a food cooker which is provided with a pot which can be rotated through 0-90 degrees.
It is still another object of the present invention to provide a food cooker which utilizes a power transmission to drive the turning blades.
It is still another object of the present invention to provide a food cooker which can evenly stir the food in the pot.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide a food cooker which can be used to fry rice, chestnut, noodle, bean, vegetable, sesame, etc.
It is still a further object of the present invention to provide a food cooker which is easy to pour out the food in the pot.
The novel features which are characteristics of the invention, together with further objects and advantages thereof will be better understood from the following description considered in connection with the accompanied drawings and in which a preferred embodiment of the invention is illustrated by way of example. It is to be expressly understood, however, that the drawings are for the purpose of illustration and description only and are not intended as a definition of the limits of the invention.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the present invention;
FIG.2 is a sectional view taken along line A-A of FIG. 1; FIG.3 is a sectional view taken along line B-B of FIG.1;
FIG.4 is a top view of the present invention; and
FIG.5 is a fragmentary exploded view of the present invention.
For purposes of promoting an understanding of the principles of the invention, reference will now be made to the embodiment illustrated in the drawings.
Specific language will be used to describe same. It will, nevertheless, be understood that no limitation of the scope of the invention is thereby intended, such alternations and further modifications in the illustrated device, and such further applications of the principles of the invention as illustrated herein being contemplated as would normally occur to one skilled in the art to which the invention relates.
With reference to the drawings and in particular to FIG. 1 thereof, the food cooker according to the present invention comprises a power box 1 which there is a transmission mechanism. Disposed on the power box 1 is a rotatable hemispherical pot 3. An annular enclosure 31 is mounted on the pot 3. At the center of the pot 3 is mounted an axle 7 having a pair of turning blades 2 extending therefrom for stirring the food placed in the pot 3. The axle 7 is driven by a motor 11. A motor 13 is provided for driving the pot 3 to rotate through 0-90 degrees via a belt 12 and a pulley.
Referring to FIGS.2, 3, and 4, the motor 13 drives a pulley by means of a triangular belt 12. Thus, the pulley drives the worm 16 which in turn rotates the worm gear 8. Consequently, the power box 1 will rotate about the axle 81 of the worm gear 8 thereby enabling the pot 3 to rotate through 0-90 degrees (as shown in FIG.3).
When in use, first place the food such as fluffy meat, fluffy fish or the like into the pot 3 and then turn on the power box 1. As the power box 1 is switched on, the turning blades 2 and the pot 3 will rotate in opposite directions to evenly stir the food therein. By means of the gas cooker 5 disposed under the pot 3, the food can be dried and fried. When the pot 3 is inclined by turning on the motor 15, the food stirred to the higher position will fall down to the lower position and so the food will be thoroughly fried but not mushy.
Looking now at FIGS.2, 3 and 5, a circular frame 4 is disposed under the pot 3. A gas cooker is mounted within the circular frame 4. As the motor 11 is switched on, it will rotate a worm 10 which will in turn drive a worm gear 71. The axle 7 is keyed into the worm gear 71 and so the axle 7 will rotate in unison with the worm gear 71 thereby moving the turning blades 2. Hence, the food in the pot 3 can be evenly stirred and fried.
Furthermore, when desired to rotate the pot 3, simply switch on the motor 15. When the motor 15 is turned on, it will drive a pulley connected to the transmission mechanism 14 via a triangular belt 12. Meanwhile, the pulley will rotate a worm,9 which will in turn drive a worm gear 61, resulting in the rotation of the pot 3. It is noted, however, that the pot 3 can rotate independently.
Although this invention has been described with a certain degree of particularity, it is understood that the present disclosure is made by way of example only and that numerous changes in the detail of construction and the combination and arrangement of parts may be resorted to without departing from the scope and spirit as the invention as hereinafter claimed.
