Abstract

The shower device can easily and immediately be fitted or installed to any conventional bath taps to provide an efficient shower with any hot water system whose pressure would normally be insufficient to provide the same. A low voltage battery drives a small water pump in a housing placed near the bath taps. Furthermore the Showerpac can easily be removed from the bathroom so as to recharge the battery at a normal household powerpoint outside the bathroom. <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION Showerpac This invention relates to a Showerpac.
Most flats and bungalows in the United Kingdom have insufficient pressure in the hot water system to provide a reasonable shower.
Modern shower units are relatively expensive and moreover it is frequently difficult to install them into an existing bathroom without specialist knowledge.
According to the present invention there is provided a low voltage removal and rechargeable unit capable of driving a small pump which would provide extra pressure to the hot water system thus resulting in an efficient shower.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing.
Referring to the drawing the Showerpac comprises a unit containing a low voltage battery and a pump, a bather diverter and a conventional shower head and pipe leading to the conventional taps via the bath diverter and the pump and battery unit.
The low voltage unit is suggested for complete safety. No wires are used, the Showerpac could be easily removed as a compact unit and could be recharged at a normal household power point outside the bathroom.
1. Ashowerpaccomprising a unit containing a low voltage battery and a pump, a bath diverter and a conventional shower head and pipe capable of providing an efficient hot shower in a hot water system where the pressure of the water is not normally sufficient to provide the same.
2. A showerpac as claimed in claim 1 wherein a box unit containing a low voltage battery and water pump can easily be removed from the bathroom.
3. A showerpac as claimed in claim 2 wherein the box unit can easily be recharged at a normal household power point outside the bathroom.
4. A showerpac as claimed in claim 3 which can be used in complete safety as a result of the use of a low voltage battery and the complete lack of wires.
5. A showerpac as claimed in any preceding claim which can easily and immediately be fitted or installed to any conventional bath taps.
6. A showerpac substantially as described herein with reference to the accompanying drawing.
