Claims (7)

1. A device for use in presetting the tools of a platen press comprises a cradle supported for generally upwardly and downwardly movement by a generally upright support means, said cradle being mounted so that it can pivot about its axis.
2. A device as claimed in Claim 1,wherein the cradle can pivot in a generally horizontal plane about the generally upright axis of the support means.
3. Adevice as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2, wherein the cradle is integral with a turret mounted on a carriage which is generally vertically shiftable relative to the column, said column being mounted on a pivotable support.
4. A device according to claim 3, wherein said turret comprises a guide disk provided on its circumference with a plurality of tension rollers arrangedto run in agroovetooledina ring ofa crown integral with the carriage, further rollers run in a chamber in the frame of the carriage and said guide disk comprises an innertooled crown into which a toothed pinion mounted on the axle of a reduction motor on said carriage engages.
