Abstract

A braking device for a child's perambulator, such as a push-chair, comprises a braking element 6, a lock member 7, a single spring 8, and a peg and slot coupling means 11 and 12 between the braking element and the lock member. The whole is such that the lock member and the braking element co-operate throughout movement from the inactive position to the braking position, at which the braking element 6 is positively locked. <IMAGE>
