A lighting unit (1) having a lighting device (6) housed inside a cavity (4) on a support (2), and a fastening device (20, 30, 31) wherein a single elastic element (2), accessible from outside, acts both as a connecting element (22) for securing the lighting device (6) to the support (2), and as a spring (24) for withdrawing the lighting device (6) from the cavity (4) on the support (2). <IMAGE>
