Abstract

An inclinable and reversible carrier 14 for a child's perambulator includes two side members 8 for stiffening and for pivotally mounting the carrier on the chassis 4. Each side member 8 is constituted by at least two parts 8a and 8b, connected telescopically, the first part 8a being articulated on the chassis 4 and the second part 8b being coupled to the chassis 4 by a small connecting rod 9 also articulated to the chassis at a point 10 spaced from the articulation 6 of the first part. The connecting rod 9 is arranged such that the distance between the articulations 6 and 11 of the two parts 8a and 8b respectively to the chassis 4 and the connecting rod 9 increases as the carrier is moved from the sitting position to the lying position, so extending the carrier from the seated position to the extended position. <IMAGE>
