SPECIFICATION
Secure-a-tray
Improvements in relation to security
Almost every 'Grab' from inside a jewellers is executed when staff are showing a display tray from a window or showcase and the 'customer' finds it very easy to snatch and run.
This invention which would be fixed on the working side of the counter is designed to secure the display tray by means of an inertia reel of adequate strength to prevent most thieves. However in the event of failure of either the cord or its anchor an alarm will be activated by a breakwire trigger system which can either be located within the unit or wired into the existing main alarm system.
