Abstract

A sheep support, eg a sheep turner, has a metal frame 13, and a rubber seat 14. The sheep support is a two position support i.e. upright, Fig. 1, and reclining, Fig. 3 (not shown). The sheep support has removable ear flaps Figs. 9, 10, 11 and 12 (not shown). A rear bar 15, which is a leg in the reclining position, becomes a handle which is used to eject the sheep to land in an upright position. <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION Sheep chair This invention relates to a sheep chair.
According to the present invention there is provided a sheep chair, comprising a metal frame and a rubber seat.
This is a sheep chair which operates in two positions, namely upright and reclining.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which:- Figure 1 shows the sheep chair in the upright position; Figure 2 shows the upright and reclining positions; Figure 3 shows front and rear elevation; Figure 4 shows side and front elevation and removable earflaps.
A sheep is entered onto the chair in the reverse position and is easilyturned over onto the chair in the upright position. The chair is then put in the reclining position and the sheep is immobile on its back.
Earflapsshown in Figs. 9,10,11 and 12 are removable to accommodate sheep with large horns.
Theywould also be removed when dressing the sheeps heads.
The chair can be used to secure the sheep to allow the shepherd to dress the sheeps feet, tails and heads.
The chair can also be used to secure the sheep for pregnancy scanning.
To ejectthe sheep out ofthe chair, return the chair to the upright position, steady the sheep with one hand, and tip up the chair by raising the bar 15, with the other hand, and the sheep will land upright on its feet.

4. The earflaps are removable to enable the chair to accommodate sheep with large horns, and to enable the shepherd to dress the sheeps heads.
5. To ejectthe sheep out ofthe chair, return the chairto the upright position, tip up the chair by raising the rear bar 15, and the sheep will land upright on its feet.

According to the present invention there is provided a sheep chair, comprising a metal frame and a rubber seat. This is a sheep chair which operates in two positions, namely upright and reclining.
