Abstract

214,361. Lawes, W. W. Feb. 1, 1923. Paints.-A paint comprises rubber which is boiled in linseed oil until dissolved, together with terebine (liquid drier) and a pigment such as burnt sienna, Oxford ochre, or vegetable, black. The pigment may be previously ground up with more linseed oil in the proportions of 25 per cent of dry pigment and 75 per cent of linseed oil.
