Abstract

A golf ball (not shown) supported on the free end of a tee arm, rotatably mounted on a tee spike, may be viewed through a sight, adjustably mounted on the upper end of the spike. A golfer can thus detect movement of his head. <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION Golf practice aid The invention is an extension of a normal golf tee, but, being a practice aid, is not for use on the golf course.
It employs a system of lining up the golf ball through a sight, which keeps head and body aligned during the swing.
To my knowledge, there is nothing on the market which does this, so I cannot state if the invention differs from any other in some way.
The device consists of four plastic components being Ol The main stem which fixes into the ground Q) A rotating tee (ss) Adjustable sight Screw for securing sight.
The components are illustrated in diagram I and assembly is shown in diagram II.
The sight is adjustable horizontally to compensate for different length golf clubs, and the tee rotates freely when contact is made with a club to avoid breakage.
Used correctly, the golf swing can be practiced, with the device keeping the head and body in a constant position, allowing the club-head to make proper contact with the ball.
1. A golf practice aid comprising of a sight and revolving tee.
2. A golf practice aid as claimed in claim 1 wherein the sight is adjustable to different club lengths.
3. A golf practice aid as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2 wherein the tee revolves after being struck.
4. A golf practice aid as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2 wherein the tee and the sight work together to form a lining-up or sighting principle with the golf ball.
