Abstract

The tooth brush goes over the finger instead of on a handle. The tooth brush could be made of a plastics material with bristles of the same material eg nylon. The bristles may be all round the sheath or only partially, with a pad on the inside of the finger to hold steady when in use. <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION Finger toothbrush This invention relates to a toothbrush of the type that goes over the finger instead of on a handle. The finger toothbrush would be made of plastic or other material with bristles of the same or compatible material. The bristles may be all round the stall or only partially, with a pad on the inside of the finger for the user to hold steady when in use.
The finger toothbrush substantially as herewith described and set forth by accompanying drawings in which: Figure 1 is a side perspective view of the toothbrush attached to the finger of the hand of the user Figure 2 is a bottom plan view of the toothbrush which incorporates an indented circular pad in the base of the toothbrush.
Figure 3 is a perspective view of the toothbrush attached to the finger of the hand of the user with the thumb of the user placed in the indentation at the base of the toothbrush which would secure the toothbrush when being used.
The stall or covering for the finger comprises a covering of known construction capable of fitting any finger of the hand of the user.
In use the stall or covering is slipped on to the finger of the hand of the user, and the brushing of the teeth is proceeded with in the usual manner. The circular indentation at the base of the finger toothbrush being used as in Figure 3 to assist in retaining the stall firmly in position on the finger of the hand of the user.
The bristles of the finger toothbrush can be completely or partially covering the stall of the toothbrush and be made of nylon or other similar synthetic substance.
The finger toothbrush made in three graduated sizes would be colour coded as follows. Large - Red, Medium - Blue, Small - Green.
The finger toothbrush for children made on a smaller scale, as already described, would vary in presentation, the stall and and bristles being styled on small aminals, such as hedgehogs or mice.
Having now particularly described and ascertained the nature of my said invention and the manner in which the same is to be used.
1. A toothbrush of the type referred to, having bristles of nylon or other material which are attached either partially or completely to a stall of plastic or other material as substantially described.
2. The finger toothbrush substantially as herein described and set forth by the accompanying drawings.

The finger toothbrush would be made of plastic or other material with bristles of the same or compatible material.
