212,945. A.G.E.D. Soc. Anon. Arti Grafiche e Decorative. March 15, 1923, [Convention date]. Ink.-Transfers for applying drawings or inscriptions to wood, fabrics, &c. are printed with an ink consisting of bees-wax, paraffin, turpentine, colophony, and colouring matter. The impressions are dried by dusting with powdered colphony. To use the transfers, they are first floated face upward on water to moisten them, and are then pressed against the wood &c. by a hot press. The ink may consist of 300 grams of bees-wax, 50 grams of paraffin, 1. litre of turpentine, and 400 grams of colophony with a suitable quantity of metallic oxide or other colouring matter.
