Description
SPECIFICATION
A foot massaging device
The present invention relates to a foot massaging device.
"Pathological massage" according to traditional Chinese medical theory, states that areas on the soles of the feet reflect the symptoms of organs in the human body. In other words, when you massage a particular reflecting area, you will not feel pain if you are healthy. On the other hand, you will feel pain if you suffer from illness or there is something wrong with your organs, because there is a poisonous element viz. uric acid crystal CsH4N403, in the reflecting area; if you try massaging it for at least 30-60 minutes per day and drinking water after massaging, the uric acid crystal will gradually disappear and, simultaneously the blood circulation will be strengthened, illness will be cured and the unhealthy organs will recover.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a massaging device which does not require traditional hand massage which is an exhausting procedure, but which utilises a plate device to provide pathological massage.
According to the present invention there is provided a foot massaging device comprising a flat, or substantially flat base support having a plurality of members of different shapes and sizes projecting therefrom, the size, shape and location of said members being selected such as to correspond to different reflecting areas of the human body on the soles of the feet.
The support is preferably rectangular in shape and may be formed of any suitable material, e.g.
plastics material, metal or wood.
The projecting members may be smooth, have indentations thereon or portions extending therefrom depending on the particular reflecting area, under consideration. The members generally extend substantially in rows.
The present invention will be further illustrated, by way of example, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a foot massaging device in accordance with the present invention;
Fig. 2 schematically indicates the relationship between human organs and their reflecting areas on the soles of the feet; and
Figs. 3-1 to 3-5 indicate various reflecting areas of the feet corresponding to organs of the human body.
As illustrated in Fig. 1, the foot massaging device according to the invention comprises a flat base support having projecting members 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 which are designed for a person in a healthy condition. For those seriously ill; use protruding objects, 6, 7, for left foot, and protruding objects 9, 10 for the right foot; massage on the top, outer rim, inner rim and front part of these protruding objects, will stimulate the reflecting areas on the soles of feet, then the poisonous element "uric acid crystal" can be excreted via kidney to the outside of the body, when you put your feet on it the protruding objects 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, 1 5 which are designed to point at special reflecting areas which will help fullfil the function of massage via the specially designed structure of this invention.
Shown in Fig. 2 is a diagram of areas reflecting different organ symptoms from which the appropriate, parts on the soles of feet are revealed for effective massage. Fig. 3 has an over-all table of this invention which includes reflecting areas such as: brain 21, frontal sinuses 22, cerebellum 23, pituitary gland 24, temporal lobe (trigemina) 25, nose 26, neck 27, eyes 28, ear 29, shoulder 30, shoulder-neck trapezius 31, thyroid 32, accessory thyroid 33, lung and bronchia 34, stomach 35, duodenum 36, pancreas 37, liver 38, gall bladder 39, cediac plexes 40, (on the right is solar plexes on the left is digestion system,) adrenal glands 41, kidney 42, urinary canal 43, bladder 44, intestine 45, appendic, caecum 46, ilieocecal valve 47, ascending colon 48, transverse colon 49, descending colon 50, rectum 51, anus 52, heart 53, spleen 54, knee 55, genital gland (ovary or testis) 56, abdominal relation (reduce painful menstruation and stress, or irregular menstruation) 57, hip joint 58, upper part of body, Iymphgland 59, epigastric

In this case the patient is in such serious condition as suffering from heart failure, migrain and injury, immediately massage reflecting areas of related organs. The necessary procedure shall start as follows:
A. Kidney: Thoroughly massage reflecting areas of urinary canal, and bladder so as to let poisonous substances dissolve quickly and be excreted through urinary system, which helps facilitate circulation system too. Generally, it takes above five minutes to massage the
reflecting areas of each on the left and right soles.
B. Head: Massage all reflecting areas of central control system of all organs for three minutes.
C. Stomach-intestine canal: Include massaging two minutes for reflecting areas of liver and pancreas, both of which are metabolic organs, so as to regulate their function, to produce metabolic substances for all organs.
D. Lymph node: A two-minute massage of the reflecting areas of lymph mode will help produce enough antibodies to kill and remove poisonous substances from body.
During the massaging procedure, according to the theory of this invention, there may occur short and temporary responses to the stimulation.
Except under special circumstances when a doctor is needed, these should be regarded as normal responses which will settle down quickly.
Such special responses which may temporarily occur are as follows:
-Swelling, especialiy for those lymph infarct patient.
-In varicosis patient, veins swelling may become more obvious because blood circulation is suddenly increased to the veins.
-A would will appear on leg, because blood circulates slower in the leg. The blood pressure is searching for an outlet. This is a normal response because it shows that this kind of excretion helps discharge poisonous substances which cannot be dissolved by the body.
fever: this is one of the responses which occurs after massaging reflecting areas of lymph gland because hidden inflammation would lead to a fever.
-Pain increase in an organ.
-Contushion: When calcium content is not regular.
Notes
No strong massage or one not exceeding two minutes of reflecting areas is allowed for patients with heart disease, diabetics, liver disease and cancer.
2. During the therapeutic period, such phenomena as cyanosis and more pain will occur but this is a normal condition (especially for those with arthritis and rheumatism)
3. Drink more water after massaging.
4. Do not massage within an hour after having a meal.
