Abstract

210,714. Davies, J. E. Dec. 7, 1923. Securing articles of furniture together in rows.-A clip for securing chairs in rows comprises grooved members 1. 3 assembled with the grooves 6 opposite each other, a stud 2 drawing the members together so that the grooves 6 grip the staves of adjacent chairs. The ends of the members 1, 3 may be mitred and additional grooves 7 may be provided to allow of engagement round transverse staves. In a modification two sheet metal plates secured together by a stud are bent to form transverse grooves. The clips may be formed with hooks or projections to engage the staves.
