Abstract

Vehicle fittings. - The rear end of a load of timber rests upon a roller d which can be rotated to move the load rearwardly until it tilts on to the ground or on to a trestle so that unloading can be completed by moving the vehicle forwardly. As shown, the roller d can be rotated by a handlever j and ratchet gear. The surface of the roller d is formed with sharp projections to engage the load. An actuating lever may be provided at each end of the roller.
