Abstract
208,957. Lauste, H. G. March 7, 1923. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Multiple - diaphragm sound - boxes; tool - arm mountings.-Relates to gramophone and like sound-boxes of the kind in which two or more diaphragms are connected to a common stylus, and consists in providing a sound-deflector 15 in a chamber 2 to which sound passes from all the diaphragms. The common chamber 2 is shown as of truncated conical form, the conical deflector 15 being arranged opposite the tube 1 which connects to the tone-arm. The stylus-bars 8 are mounted on a plate 9 which is spring-held against pivots on the casing.
