Serrated and like nails. - A flat serrated nail 4 has a narrow cut 4 at the root of each serration to increase the resistance of the projecting points and render the nail more dificult to withdraw. The nail is tapered and has a hole 7 formed in its wider end to accommodate a transverse security pin. The point of the nail may be chisel-shaped.
