208,199. Scott, A. J. May 24, 1923. Infusers. - In a tea infuser of the type comprising a perforated receptacle 1 in which an unperforated piston or plunger 2 is operated by means of a rod 3 passing through a handle 4 attached to the receptacle the hinged lid 5, by means of which the tea leaves are introduced, is placed at one end of the receptacle, opposite to the plunger 2. Windows covered with wire gauze 8 may be formed in the receptacle, and a hook 7 may be attached to the rod 3 for suspending the infuser in a tea urn &c. Catches may be provided to hold the plunger 2 in any desired position in the receptacle.
