Finger-guides and grips for facilitating writing and preventing cramp.-A pensupporting device for use during writing &c. comprises a substantially upright support which is held bv the hand and which is provided with means for adjustably carrying a pen. The support a comprises a flat piece of material formed with an aperture b for a penholder c and a larger aperture e for supporting a member h provided with a forked upper end. The aperture e is sufficiently large to allow of the angular unjustment of the member h, which may be secured in position by wedging or other means. The penholder c is gripped in the forked end of the member h, and the device is so arranged that, when in use, it is supported by the pen-nib k, the heel of the number h, and a part l of the support a. The Provisional Specification also describes modifications in which the support a is formed integral with a penholder; and the penholder and support h are formed integral with the support a.
