Spindle apparatus; spindle rails. - The ring rails of ring spinning and doubling machines are mounted in front of the spindles and the rings are mounted in separate brackets extending therefrom towards the centre of the machine, thereby providing spaces for separators which extend above and below the rail. The brackets d may be secured by screws in rebates in the rail, as shown in Fig. 1, cr may be in the form of spring clips d, Fig. 3, or may be integral with the rail.
