203,299. Marshall, G. R., and Bruce, J. A. Sept. 1, 1922, [Convention date]. Contents, delivering.-A towel cabinet comprises upper and lower compartments 10, 11, a pair of feed rollers 23, 27, a pair of take-up rollers 22, 24 for the towelling 39 in the compartment 10, connecting gears 30 - - 33 and means to limit the length fed at one pull. The centres of the rollers 24, 27 are capable of moving in slots 18, 19 against the pressure of springs 26, 29. The gear 33 has an annular groove 34 with a notch 35 therein, normally engaged by a detent 38 mounted on a lever 37. When the lever 37 is manipulated the towelling 39 can be drawn between the rollers 22, 24, the soiled part being simultaneously drawn into the cabinet by the rollers 23, 27. A meter for registering the length of towelling used can te driven off the gear 33.
