Abstract

202,900. Ward. F. Dec. 7, 1922. Hand sieves.-A frame for detachably holding interchangeable sieves E, of different mesh, consists of two conical or stepped rings A, C which are secured together to clamp the sieve between them by eye-bolts G engaging studs H on one ring and passing through brackets P hooked on the other. The rings and sieves may have indicating marks so as to facilitate their assembly in the correct order for the particular sieve in use. A support for the sieves comprising cross-bars K mounted on a ring L, may be provided and is clamped in position with the sieve. The edges of the sieves are turned up and secured to rings F.
