Abstract

Flexible fastener means in which first and second elongate closure strips 2, 3 each have one element of a rib and groove construction 5, 6 and in which the two strips have contact surfaces which come to lie against each other because the groove element 5 is recessed with respect to its corresponding contact surface. In a further embodiment, the first closure strip 11 has a rib containing a groove 13 and the second strip 14 has a recessed groove 15 provided with a male element 16 for engagement with groove 13. Bags incorporating such fastener means are made from plastics tubular extrudates. <IMAGE>
