Abstract

A cargo control system for a vehicle or container comprises an apertured top track (2) and an apertured bottom track (6) along each side of the vehicle or container, and an upright member (9) at each side of the vehicle or container securable at any point along the tracks. The upright members have a spigot at the upper end which is located in any of the apertures (7) of top track (2), and a twist-lock fastener which is lockable into any of the apertures (10) of the bottom track. Apertures (16) in the upright members allow load retaining members (15) to be secured between the upright members. The upright members (9) are removed when not required to increase the load carrying space available within the vehicle or container. <IMAGE>
