Abstract

Autoclaves used for steam sterilising are provided with an auxiliary steam supply 9 to the chamber terminating in valves 13 which are coupled by flexible tubes to the units of the load containing steam injection funnels (Fig. 2), opening a valve on this auxiliary supply causes steam to flow into the load forcefully displacing the air. <IMAGE>
