Abstract

A link chain in the form of a lifting chain comprises inner plates 1 enclosed between outer plates 2 and connected by link pins 3 at both ends to the outer plates. At least some of the inner plates 1 have cavities 5 for receiving lubricant. The cavities 5 are joined to respective pin bores 4 and are covered by the outer plates 2. <IMAGE>
