Abstract

A self-lubricating bearing with a grease store is in the form of a block (1) of plastics material. The block (1) has an axially extending through hole (5) which at opposite axial end portions (6 and 7) of the bearing is of circular cross-section but at an intermediate portion is of polygonal cross-section providing a plurality of support surfaces (8). The diameter of the largest circle which can be inscribed within the polygonal support surfaces (8) is substantially equal to the diameter of the through hole in the circular cross-section portions. <IMAGE>
