Abstract

A corner connector for a frame has two limbs which are each bifurcated, and have backwards-facing teeth 22. Each limb is of such a size that, when inserted into a correctly-sized hollow frame member, the two furcations 20 are deflected elastically, so that the teeth are pressed against the interior of the frame member, and hold the cleat in place. A nylon insert 26 is provided between the furcations, and assists the resilience of the furcations 20 in pressing the teeth 22 against the interior of the frame member. The connector consists of a slice from an extrusion of an appropriate cross-section. <IMAGE>
