Abstract

Shuttering for longitudinal concrete plinths under the rails is provided with holders for clip anchorages which can be adjusted so that the anchorages are positioned to give the rails the required gauge and cant as well as the required position relative to a datum to accommodate curves, and gradients. The concrete of the plinths is then poured around a part of the anchorages and when the concrete sets the anchorages are held firmly in position. <IMAGE>
