Abstract

A laundry drying framework comprising two U-shaped yokes each having its limbs joined by spaced parallel rails and the free ends of its limbs each coupled by a swivel joint to a respective one of the free ends of the other yoke to form a generally rectangular frame, the swivel joints each comprising two half joints (17, 18 and 19, 20) provided with detent means in the form of radial teeth (27), a swivel shaft (23) extending through both joints and a cam (33), formed by part of an edge of a lever pivoted by a spindle (34) on one end of the shaft (23), being provided to press the two half joints (17, 18 and 19, 20) together against the force of a spring (29) to engage the teeth (27) and thereby prevent relative rotation of the two yokes. <IMAGE>
