Abstract
A standing inductor comprises a reel-shaped ferrite core 1 with a base flange 3 at one end and an outer flange 2 at the other end and on which a wire winding 7 is wound, the core 1 having two longitudinal bores 4 opening at each end into a transverse groove 8, 9 and feed wires 5 extending through the longitudinal bores 4 to stand proud of the outer flange 2 for connection to the end wires 6 from the winding 7. <IMAGE>
