Abstract
The working chambers Z1a, Z1b, Z2a, Z2b of a pair of hydraulic motors Z1, Z2 are connectible to pressure source Q or reservoir T by respective control valves St1, St2. To permit the motors Z1, Z2 to withstand continuous static loads F the working lines A1, A2 are provided with non-return valves R1, R2 which are releasable when desired by means of pressure in control lines X1, X2. In order however to prevent unwanted opening of a non-return valve by pressure surges occurring in the common return line T1, T2 each non-return valve is provided with a control piston one side of which is connectible to reservoir or pressure source according to the position of the respective control valve, but the other side of which is permanently connected to the common return line. <IMAGE>
