Abstract
A solar heat collector includes a metal tube (1) extending from end to end of a surrounding glass tube (2) and connected to it at each end by a hermetic seal. An expansion bellows (4) is incorporated in at least one of the tubes or of the seals. The space between the tubes is evacuated and accommodates a fin or fins (3) separate from but in thermal contact with the metal tube and thermally isolated from the glass. <IMAGE>
