Abstract

A connector comprises a plunger 26 having a cavity 27 at one end which is in communication with a hollow spigot 28' to which a flexible conduit can be connected. The plunger 26 is slidable within a tubular housing 24 and is biassed by a spring 32. A lever 35, which has a pivot point 37 on a fulcrum, passes into the housing 24 and engages part of the plunger to enable the plunger to be moved against the bias of the spring 32, to move it out of engagement with a seal 21 as shown. <IMAGE>
