Abstract

A clamping device (10) for use in attaching a component to an angle beam, the clamping device being of one-piece construction and having a first portion (11) to engage the underside of the base of the angle, a second portion (12) extending generally perpendicularly towards the first portion and intended to extend along an inside face of the flange towards the upper surface of the base of the flange, a third portion (13) interconnecting the first and second portions, and slots (14, 15) formed in the first and third portions respectively, to receive a threaded fastener which, upon tightening, clamps the device firmly in any desired position along the length of the angle. <IMAGE>
