Abstract

A holder for a water soluble product to disinfect and deodorise a lavatory pan comprises a cylindrical cage 1 and a hook 2 which is pivotally attached to the cage so as to be movable between a folded position lying on the walk of the cage and an erected condition in which the hook is substantially in the median transverse plane of the cage. The hook is pivotally attached to the cage by way of a stud on the hook slidably engaging in a guide groove 8 and 9 which is closed at an end near the central transverse plane of the cage. The cage may be a one-piece structure closed at one end and open at the other until a closure element is fitted thereto, or it may be formed from two cylindrical half cages 3 and 4 which can be joined together end to end to close the cage as shown in the Fig. <IMAGE>
