Abstract

Device for packing wires comprising a package 10 having a substantially toroidal and hollow portion, with a cross-sectional shape suitable to receive in the interior thereof a roll of wire 30. The toroidal portion is provided in its external wall or in its upper wall with an opening or continuous slot 11 for removal of the wire. The opening allows for total or partial removal of the wire 30 from the interior of the package. The package may be made of polystyrene or other suitable material, translucent or opaque, capable of providing a rigid or semi-rigid construction. A fillet 14 and circular slot 15 arrangement may be incorporated to allow stacking of the packages. <IMAGE>
