Abstract

The invention relates to a bat or stick for playing games. In order to prevent or delay chipping or other deterioration of the striking surface, such bat or stick 1 has a striking surface formed by a seamless tube 2 of thermoplastics material which has been heat-shrunk onto it. The tube 2 is preferably of polyvinyl chloride between 0.1 mm and 1 mm thick and may be transparent. <IMAGE>
