Jackets and covers. -A felt pad 3 for preventing punctures and blow-outs is inserted between the inner tube 4 and outer cover 1 and is of gradually-decreasing thickness until it reaches the rim. The outer cover has thin side portions and an integral thickened tread portion of equal depth across the width of the tyre. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 2687/08, 12022/08, 8621/12, and 23356/14.
