Abstract

A braille printer has pushbuttons 9 mounted in the arrangement of the elementary signs of the Braille alphabet, with lateral appendices 9B, 9C, which converge towards a space of small overall size; a pressing member 5 hinged to the structure 1, 3 which carries an anvil 32 with raised portions 34 for cooperating with the appendices 9C; the portions 34 of the pressing member 5 and appendices 9C when urged one towards the other impress on an interposed card the signs corresponding to the pushbuttons 9 operated.
