Abstract

A component for use in a toy construction kit comprises plastics building elements having groove and/ or tenon joining means and plastics sheets for forming cut out parts. With such kits it is possible to make up shaped models by cutting up the sheets and securing them together. The component is injection-moulded in one piece from plastics material and has an undercut tenon 5 and a thin flexible base 6 for adhesively securing the tenon to a supporting surface. When so secured - for example to a surface 2 of a shaped model - the tenon can releasably engage a groove or slot on a building element 3. <IMAGE>
