Abstract

Time and channel data are stored in each of stores (61-65) arranged in sequence in the order of times on which the selected programs are transmitted. The stored data are retrieved at periodic intervals for comparison with a clock datum indicating the time of day to detect a match between them, whereupon a tuned circuit of a broadcast receiver (1) is activated. The retrieved datum is compared with a new datum which is additionally keyed into the system to rearrange all of the stored data in a new program sequence. The retrieved datum is also displayed on an indicator (10) and in synchronism with each display interval the user is allowed to deliver a data cancel command signal, whereby the stored data are transferred to respectively adjacent stores to vacate a store for entry of new data. <IMAGE>
