Abstract
An input circuit for an electronic instrument, for example a measuring instrument, is arranged to remove the DC component of an input signal while presenting the AC component to the instrument. The input circuit has a resistance network R1, R2, R3 and a direct current or direct voltage source U1, U2, which are arranged so as to isolate the AC component of the input signal while compensating for any additional current applied to the input signal. In a preferred embodiment, the resistor network comprises three resistances connected in a pi - or T- style, the two outer resistances being respectively connected to the input and the output terminals 1 and 2. <IMAGE>
