Abstract
In the production of oil and water emulsion the emulsion is created by atomizing opposing jets of water and oil against each other from nozzles 3 to 9 in a chamber 1 and then passing the resulting emulsion through one or more cavitation pumps, thereby causing the droplets of water in the oil to be further atomized and dispersed. The latter enables less water to be added, thereby improving efficiency while maintaining a very low degree of oil-coke development and achieves cleaner combustion. <IMAGE>
