Abstract

An arrangement for combining the outputs of a plurality of oscillator diodes comprising a hollow cylindrical resonant cavity (G) and a plurality of coaxial lines (J) coupled with the cavity and each terminated at one end by a diode (K) and at the other end by a dummy load (L). To increase the number of diode/load combinations which can be employed with a cavity of given size, the central conductor of each line enters and leaves the cavity via adjacent apertures in the cavity side face. The diodes and loads are suitably accommodated in slots in the cavity side wall. The diodes may be Impatt diodes. <IMAGE>
