Abstract

Teeth, artificial.-In dentures for the upper jaw, Fig. 1, or for the lower jaw, Fig. 2, the teeth 1 are secured, as usual, to hard rubber 2, but the tapering portions 3 in contact with the gums are formed of elastic rubber to give better adhesion. In an upper denture the parts 3 may be connected by an elastic strip 4 passing across the rear edge of the plate.
