Abstract
The invention relates to apparatus for the automatic creation of tramlines (i.e. clearly visible tracks) in crop areas during seeding for use with a seed drill. Control box (1) includes a programmable divide-by-N counter which receives a signal each time the coulters of the seed drill are raised and lowered rotating shaft (3) and actuating switch (6). When the number of signals received by the counter equal the number preset into the counter, a solenoid (9) is activated which serves to operate a shutter (14) which closes off the seed supply to the coulters positioned behind the wheels of the tractor operating the seed drill, thus creating unseeded tracks. <IMAGE>
