Abstract

An inking pad for wrapping on the cylinder of a stencil duplicating machine is provided at its ends with pockets that collect, in use, any ink on the pad arriving at the ends thereby substantially eliminating any soiling of the machine or operator's hands. Each pocket may consist of a pair of ink impermeable strips (10) extending over opposite faces of the pad (2) to be secured together beyond the pad edges, the bottom of the pocket being closed by a seam (14). Alternatively a single strip is folded round a sleeve (7) for an attachment bar (8), the sides of the pocket again being closed by sealing the strip material beyond the pad edges. <IMAGE>
